Basic composition of equipment
A complete set of PVC corner bead machine usually includes the following core modules:
Module Function Description
1. Raw Material Drying and Feeding System: PVC agranules need to be dried at 80–100℃ for 2–4 hours to prevent moisture from causing bubbles; automatic vacuum feeding, with a compounding machine (which can add calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, stabilizers, CPE impact modifiers, etc.).
2. Conical twin-screw extruder: Common models of the main machine include SJ65/25. It ensures uniform plasticization, low shear heat, and prevents material decomposition.
3. Special profile molds: Customized according to the type of corner protector:
• Corner protector for external corners (90° external corners, with grid/glossy back panel)
• Internal corner protector (edge finishing for internal corners)
• Arc corner guards (R-corners, used in children's rooms, hospitals)
The mold material is typically 3Cr13 or H13 steel, with a chrome plating on the surface for anti-sticking.
4. Vacuum sizing table + spray cooling water tank: Multi-stage vacuum adsorption + water cooling ensures stable profile dimensions and no deformation; the cooling length is 3–6 meters, accommodating different wall thicknesses (1.0–2.5mm).
5. Haul-offs: Tracked or combined tracked and rubber roller traction, with a speed range of 0.5–5 m/min, equipped with encoder feedback to ensure uniform speed.
6. The PVC corner bead online punching machine is an automated device integrated into the PVC corner bead extrusion production line. It is used to simultaneously perform precise punching during the continuous extrusion, shaping, and traction of corner beads, eliminating the need for machine downtime or secondary processing. This technology is widely applied to building corner protection products that require enhanced bonding strength or special functionalities (such as breathability, wire threading, and hanging accessories), especially for composite corner beads with fiberglass mesh backing.
7. Cutting and Stacking System: Utilizing flying knife cutting or saw blade cutting, the length can be set (such as 2.4m, 2.7m, 3.0m), with automatic counting and stacking.
